Oil and Gas Policy Intervention Advocacy
Project Scope
The COVID-19 pandemic impacted oil prices, which had a negative effect on oil and gas companies, especially indigenous ones.
In the face of the global oil price slump following the shutdown of major economies on the heels of the pandemic, most indigenous upstream oil and gas players began to default on loan repayment obligations.
The project is hinged on getting the government and CBN to wade in with a favorable policy intervention.

Objectives
To provide opportunities to create awareness about the issue.
To generate enough steam to compel action from the government.
Ensure the stabilization of the operating environment in order to help advance indigenous players in the Oil and Gas sector.
